Carol has been in the decorative home and lifestyle industry for 19 years. Her experience includes home and fashion textile design, teaching in the home textile and fashion industry, extensive travel in Asia , and sourcing and designing decorative furnishings and accessories. In 1997, Carol founded a successful small business in the Home Industry called red egg. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics/Fashion Design and minor in Art/Textile Design from California State University Chico.

She also has been featured in numerous publications and has served as an instructor in private industry, educating designers of some of the country’s most renowned textile schools and firms. She also received the 2004 American Furniture  Award from Home Magazine. Himalayan Handcrafted Rugs will be bringing out the Carol Gregg Collection in the fall High Point Market 2008.
